Filling up whilst sat at my desk is not a great look, but worth it in this case.

Grit everywhere, some just got in my eye. **** brilliant.

Well Done!! Excellent! I've followed this thread in fits & starts, taken a passing interest at the LEJOGLE threads and recognised the Bullheart jersey's at the 24/12.

I just read your recent news with curiosity. Have you been asked to do a channel 4 documentary on your condition.....? Have you found a new treatment of bathing in kryptonite.....?
Nope. Better than that!!
Anyway - truly don't know what to say! You are an inspiration!!

Go forth & do more of the same!!! ๐Ÿ˜€

Tears in our eyes - MrsMM and I have had the pleasure of meeting Mark and Megan.
Indeed, we're currently on hols, in the house we stayed in the night before we met them...
More randomly, Mark, today we're off out towards StAudries - we'll pop in the local and raise a glass in your general direction!
Hats off to both of you, and those who have supported you.
Love Chris, Sharon and Ted

Yeah yeah whatever.... ๐Ÿ™„

I can't be arsed reading all that, but does this mean you'll actually be available for a pint some time soon? And won't be using the old excuse of 'oh, sorry I can't make it, got to go for some treatment'. Useless. Just cos you can't hold yer drink.

Bloody attention whore....

X

Another silent follower of your ups and downs, really happy for your news.

Now where's that cleaner, she's clearly not doing her job properly with all this dust around here...

Have you been in contact with Fat Cyclist at all? On the off-chance you're not aware of him, he often posts up similarly moving blogs about his experiences with cancer.

Amazing news! It's not often that you read about something this uplifting, and that has really made my day. Unfortunately you've just proved that exercise is a great healer. I might have to get back to running now...

By the way, does this mean that we can nominate you for the Olympic torch relay thing now?

Absolutely fantastic news!

Read your post since the beginning - you are a true inspiration to us all...if only we could all be a bit more like that!

keep strong and fighting.

PS would you do a documentary? i would think it'd go down very well with the likes of channel 4 - i'd certainly watch it

I just heard that jens voigt is considering retiring, for fear that you're about to invite him out on a ride.

Well done, not just to you but to all your family and friends that have supported you in this.

Never met you, but, like so many others, I've followed your story on here.

I have no real idea why I'm moved to post (and there's really nothing original to add) but I wanted to add my sincere congratulations and best wishes in the hope that this is really it.

Awesome is an over-used word, but it would be difficult to argue that this story isn't truly awe-inspiring.

I'm a bit humbled by you and your approach - and also by the support and love shown by the community on here.

Good job, everyone!

I've been a follower on your thread since the beginning, but not a poster as the topic was a little too close to home, however your courage and honesty have been an inspiration, and in a way this thread has reminded me a little of the M*A*S*H tv series, in so much as despite the subject matter your words have had the ability to reduce me to laughter or tears within a few words.
Carpe Diem.

Chuck Norris was offered the part of Mark in the film, but turned it down cos he wasn't tough enough to play him.

Top job sir.

Outstanding news & the dust has reached Kernow now.....

Having met the legend himself i can well understand why the Cancer has decided to go elsewhere. You Sir are one of lifes true fighters & someone who doesn't know the meaning of the word giving up. Your courage, determination & sheer will to succeed is a lesson we can all learn from.

I don't use this phrase but in this case it is appropriate - you are indeed a LEGEND & STW is a better place with you on it.

PS have you got rid of them god-awful white rim wheels yet ? ;o)

Forget the white rims; does this mean he might get rid of this gopping awful thing, and get a decent bike now?
