I had one of these, but it died - snagged it on a door frame and a strap pin ripped through the case.[img]

(not life size)
Now I need a new watch. Digital, 18-20mm strap width at the case (for my Animal watch strap) and sub-£35. And not one of the terrorist Casios.
What do people recommend that's good?
Casio make a watch just for me...it might suit you as well

Take a browse through the Casio collection. Prices are RRP so you'll find a decent reduction on most stuff with a bit of searching.

Check timex too.
I like Timex for simplicity - and robustness. I've had a few over the years, usually Ironman models.
Having said that I'm now on a Casio as I couldn't find a cheap enough analogue Timex - and was fed up of battery's dying. Mines an S800W, cost £30 and is a couple of years in. The solar face seems great for charging.
