My wiggle order has just been dispatched via Yodel, wish I hadn't read this thread earlier.................
Just cancelled an order with a company after finding out, post ordering, that they use Yodel for delivery. We've a no Yodel rule in the house, results in us consuming less useless crap too, so not a bad thing ๐
Edit: We also don't yodel in the house

IT'S ARRIVED! Well something has. It might be tractor parts, who the heck knows. But that's fine, whatever it is I'm keeping it. Might even make a shrine to remind me never ever to use any company that has a belief their goods might be delivered by their very low-cost zero-value courier.
Or to be more succinct, what Greg ^^^ said ๐
Just to rub it in. Parcel 2 of 2 arrived this afternoon with a different driver. Yodel works in mysterious ways its wonders to perform.
Yodel is a classic example getting what you pay for. You pay them rock bottom. They exploit and rip off people who are paid rock bottom and probably classed as self-employed with no real means of redress. As a consequence, the drivers don't give a shit and the service is appalling. Stuff is also just drop-kicked into the vehicle making damage highly likely.
I'm sure there are a minority of instances where this doesn't apply, but in general if you do stuff on the cheap, the end product (service) is shit. The perfect manifestation of our throw away culture now we can't even be arsed to drive to buy stuff.
