zaskar - is there a more noble cause for a drill to be put to? Certainly got to be better than a hand-crank drill for the love of all things blue.
Personally I'd make a wood lathe.
you could use it to fashion the parts to make a small aircraft
then you could use the drill to power a small turntable
then you could see if the aircraft takes off.

you can use it to as a starter motor for an nitro powered rc helicopter. you'd obviously need to buy a helicopter though.

mount a pencil in the chuck and use it for rewinding C90 cassettes. Don't rewind right to the end though or you may break the tape and then you won't be able to listen to John Peel's festive fifty ever again.

[some of you may be thinking that this is well off the wall. It isn't, I did it. I had a walkman copy (Argos style) and rewinding back to the start of side one used to take an eternity and shag the batteries double quick. So I invented the drill rewinder (pat pend)]
an improvement of spinning the tape round on a pencil like a football rattle. My first 'personal stereo' ran on 4 D Cell batteries and was so big it came with shoulder strap. And still didn't have the luxury of a rewind, just one button that could be used to play, fast forward and stretch and mangle the tape depending on how hard you pressed it.
