When working away on business and abroad my mate would eat nothing but Macdee's crap - he looked for the big red and yellow logo and said "It's the universal sign of good food" to which we said "yeah right"

Oh wow, like your insides are just so uber-healthy that they just won't flippin' tolerate something as utterly offensive as a Macky D's.

Sounds like a lucky escape buddy, best stay well clear in future eh, wow you're like a temple inside, man that's so cool.

btw sausage & egg mcmuffins are sublime

😀

The big question Is , Is It as good as the food at the Peel ?.
How many toilets did they have. ?
How was there coffee ? ,and how long did they take to serve you. ?

Holy Moly, although I've never actually tried a 'McDonalds sausage & egg mcmuffin' I'd reckon 'sublime' is a bit of an exaggeration!

My Mums pies were 'sublime' though.
Get some real food down yer neck, not that mcdonalds sh!te.

Sounds like there is something wrong with your gut if you were sick over a McDonald's. I have a couple a month and wholly enjoy them. Oh and double sausage and egg McMuffins are gods own food, I had one this morning.

Anything really greasy or over processed gives me either the squits or the err voms.I used to suffer horrific IBS until my appendix finally blew up and they whipped the bugger out.Quite a bit better now.

I reckon that folk who frequent mcdonalds & the like lead very sheltered lives. I have tried them btw & still wonder why people bother.

I do enjoy a trip to McDonalds on occasion. The chips are better at Burger King though.

😆 pmsl......
McDonalds, or no McDonalds...... who cares? I like 'em, the kids like 'em, I'm more likely to die riding my bike than eating a McShit with cheese, but I still ride my bike!
Quite obviously McDonalds has become an International sensation by being shit! 😆 🙄

Well thinking's obviously not your strong point if you 'think' mcdonalds is any good. 🙄

Taki is right. McNasties food is shite but they can knock together a decent coffee and there is that delightul tradition of buy 6 coffees, get one free. Sorted for the travelling man like myself.

I've had 2 maccy d's in about the last 5 years, both of which were really disappointing. Burger kings, on the other hand, are awesome 🙂

The chips are better at Burger King though

I think its better the other way round.

And as for Gregs being better, yes they are at certain things but when was the last time you saw a drive through Gregs? In Canada they have Tim Hortons and that is great. Really good coffee and a good choice of well priced food.

Mac D's - yuk
BK - less yuk, but fries are far superior

Sausage and egg McMuffin though - drool, totally.

Love McDonald's cheeseburgers!

Fantastic food... it's only a 15 min drive, I wonder if they're still open?

I my case, it's because I need something very fast and there's nothing else open, or I'm stuck at an airport...

There you go aqain, making those assumptions without any evidence to support them; when did I make any comment on McD's? But don't worry it's always more important to be right, rather than correct.

Maccas is great when it's fresh. My locals have the carousel setup and invariably your burger has been sitting there under the heating lights for 20 mins prior to you buying it.
That really destroys it. The bread gets dried out and the lettuce warm!
BK on the other hand make them fresh every time.
I think that is the major difference for me

'How can pesto make you ill?'...when it's been in the fridge for 2weeks :0( .Spent last night discussing it with god on the big White telephone again and have a better appreciation of 'agent piccolax'' now.
