I finally managed to get hold of a new bottle of BBQ gas today after trying since May. Obviously it started raining heavily as soon I left B&Q with the gas bottle and it is now likely to rain for the rest of summer.

My fault, I'm sorry.

I added to it I'm afraid.
I took the mud tyres off my hardtail for the first time this year on Thursday

No no no, it’s my mate derek who organised a bbq for his lads birthday celebrations today.
It was organised weeks ago, so obviously his fault.
Although, it keeps my 100% record intact.
(100% of the bbq’s I’ve ever been invited to, it has pissed down)

It’s partly my fault as well! I stuck a Minion semi slick on the other day! Sorry

We finally got round to installing the sun canopy on the back of the house about a week or so ago, after weeks of good weather. It started raining the day after and hasn't been nice enough since to use it yet.

And to the windsurfers here, I apologise for buying a new 5 metre sail in May. Hardly been a gust since.

I countered someone's optimism by riding on Saturday with the rear mudguard refitted as I knew my route would be very wet and gritty.

Sadly the rest of you have undone my sacrifice to the weather gods.

Actually, I think you'll find that most of the clouds are my fault. New telescope.

I've made the cardinal mistake of swapping out my rear tyre for a 'summer', fast rolling one.

Sorry.

For anyone in the southwest I can only apologise for visiting family in Plymouth and a day in Bristol.

For anyone loving the sun in the borders, you're welcome

Thanks for stepping up to the plate and sharing this burden! The state I left Edinburgh in yesterday was weighing heavily on my mind 😉

Took my rear mudguard off my hardtail thinking "won't need that for a while", sorry guys. Tbf it would have made bugger all difference to how wet I got on Saturday anyway...
