Enjoy. Write down your feelings and give her it on her 16th birthday. Start a diary of all the progress if you have the energy. It makes good reading in later life.

Well done its great having kids remember to not get too stressed about things like sleep patterns she will find her own routine.

Get a big bunch of flowers for the Mrs, you should have seen the evils the other blokes got when they turned up without any!

Now you need to learn when to make the most of that precious spare time

Snap(ish) Our twin girls were born 16 weeks ago on Monday. And spare time - that is the thing I am finding hardest to come to terms with - not lack of sleep. (Although I feel quite wiped out today after a long-ish night with Evie ). It is just very frustrating to find it hard to get the time to make a nice coffee and have a sit down, never mind go for a run/ride.

But at about 12 weeks we put a routine in place and are perfecting our timings now so we get the girls to bed and have eaten dinner/tidied by about 8.30pm so we get an hour and a half to ourselves before final feeds.

But any lack of sleep/time is more than compensated for by the sheer wonder of holding a baby, having them smile at you, be sick on you or whatever.

Enjoy it 🙂

Tip:stock up on the calpol

But make sure you don't use till 3 months!

Hi all - just a quick message to let you know that all is well. MrsJ and Baby Olivia have moved out of hospital to a dedicated "birth unit" at Darley Dale (TAFKASTR knows this i am sure as its opposite his house nearly) where she will be looked after a bit and given help with all things baby from midwifes who have time and are dead lovely!
