This weekend it is re-opening as a village pub run by locals
To start with it ll just the drinks and bar snacks, depending how it goes as to whether the kitchen will be opened in the near future.

😉

I am formally appointed to try to find a tenant for the owners, therefore if there are any genuinely interested parties, ideally with a background in the industry please do get in contact. As we all know it is a great opportunity.

We are in genuine discussions with operators about taking a new free of tie lease and terms are flexible. Email me on will(dot) Thomas (at) fleurets.com.

Good to hear, it would be good to get some new school craft ales on keg aswell as cask, beers and bikes are a perfect combo. Like this place: oldredcow

Patio with a couple heaters in winter, picnic benches, Latte's, warm cheddar/tomato croissants, workstand with basic tools, big TV with the World Cup streams at the weekend.

Please, whoever takes it on permanently, sort us out with a decent pub food menu, we're desperate for it. Used to be ok at best which is presumably why they struggled.

OK so who do you want to supply the grub?

Food Service? 3663? Brakes? You supply just the microwave and you'll get something better than the food pictured on the hotel's website, which looks like a traffic accident.

I assure you we are looking for good/capable operators and have some interest from parties that would not disappoint, if we can agree terms.

Believe me I often ride around there and grew up not far away, so I have a genuine interest in making sure for both my client and all our enjoyment the new tenants are the right people, who understand the local needs as well as ours, the cyclists and walkers. This to be fair will be paramount in it's future success.

Went to the opening night, place was rammed, they have it pretty well organised, better bar service than before oddly, Nice pint of shere drop or Pride

They are happy for you to buy food from the shop and come over for a pint too!
