I have built up a little bike for a xmas pressie for a friends son in Spain, just been checking out the cost to send it and TNT want the following!
9:00 EXPRESS 421.15GBP
10:00 EXPRESS 409.75GBP
12:00 EXPRESS 392.65GBP
12:00 ECONOMY EXPRESS 236.29GBP
ECONOMY EXPRESS 191.89GBP
EXPRESSPRIORITY 372.05GBP
EXPRESS 347.05GBP
It only weighs 6kg and is worth £50ish!
There was me thinking it might cost me £30ish?
Does anyone know of a reasonable priced courier I could send it with?
I'd maybe look for a service that doesn't have "express" in its name.
Royal Mail / Parcelfarce perhaps?
See what parcel 2 go quotes.
Just dont use them, but it will give you an idea
Thanks Bland
Just checked parcel 2 go prices and they quote £29 using parcelforce, but when I checked parcelforces website direct they quoted £60.65 + vat?
When I posted a frame to a guy in Poland a year or so ago, I used the 3 day service via dhl which cost me £42 inc insurance up to 350. Did it through p2go had had no problems.
It was the only service I could find that insured and tracked for a reasonable cost at the time
