How many is too many/too few?
4 is a good number but 6 is easily doable.
2 and the milk/biscuit ratio is hard to gauge - also who only eats two?
Thoughts?
3 for me.
1.5 for jnrOath
3 plus a handful of Frosties with slightly warm milk ..... at 11pm 🙂
4
When I used to do 12 hour nightshifts I'd ride home, have 6 Weetabix and then a can of Kronenburg whilst watching the Big Breakfast. Slept like a baby.
My daily breakfast once I get to work is Weetabix - well, actually Tesco's own version.
Used to have 3. Tried 2 and don't seem to get hungry any quicker, so now I only have 2.
Every now & again I treat myself to 3, although 4 is easily do-able.
2.5 for me!
2 is too few, 3 a bit much. 😀
The real question is...
Mash them up into a modge, or leave the biscuits whole and cut bits off?
Mash them up for me.
1-2 on top of muesli, 3-5 if on their own.
Eat quick to minimise mush...
Mash them up into a modge, or leave the biscuits whole and cut bits off?
The third way...
Dunking allows for precise, and variable, saturation control!
4 for me with warm milk.
2. But I prefer Shredded Wheat.
An odd number when I visit my parents, just to throw my dads routine. Otherwise about 4, depending on starvation levels. Microwave milk, then add Weetabix and dried fruit.
As many as fit in the bowl.
3, tempted to try 2 for a week and see what happens like Stumpy. Cut down from 4 to 3 and apart from not feeling immediately full (which takes 5-6) noticed no difference.
Same with 30g Vs 50g of porridge.
3 with a sprinkling of Jordan's nutty museli and doused with cold almond milk. Leave for the time it takes to get a brew on to allow for consistent modginess.

Genius! 😆
My mate as a kid used to get weetabix with no milk but rather slathered with butter as an evening treat.
4, any less for an adult is basically admitting you are a failure as a human being.
Or less greedy, whatever!

I was to ask if anyone did this....used to love a couple of Weetabix slathered in butter....mmmmmmmm!
3
Shredded wheat are what I imagine eating carpet to be like.
Weetabix consumed in pairs, usually 2 pairs with ice cold blue top milk and a light dusting of sugar. Must be consumed post haste so they are moist but firm. 😉
Used to have 3 and mash them up. Now I have two and chop them up.
Sadly I'm not 1/3 lighter, or mashed up.
baby - 1
son - 2
wife - 4
me - 0
Weetabix has a very narrow milk saturation time window when it is even remotely edible. Other than that millisecond, it is rank.

This AND... daughter's boyfriend wading into my weetabix stash like they're some sort of public commodity ... Noooooo!
I have two.Served with a drizzle of boiling water and then a splash of milk.
when I was about seven I had a toy weetabix lorry.
2 at a time, with too much sugar on top. wait 20 seconds for optimum milk absorption then eat each one in 3-4 bites. repeat until stuffed. 6-8?

I say again. Dunk!
4
Warm milk in winter, cold in summer
little un (4yo) has two, then usually asks for 2 more and would happily polish of a third helping of 2, he does like his cereal.
I personally think weetabix are a lame breakfast (porridge, shreddies, crunchy nut are all much better)
This AND... daughter's boyfriend wading into my weetabix stash like they're some sort of public commodity ... Noooooo!
Has his way with your daughter then eats your weetabix.
He will be drinking your beer next.
Two plus blueberries plus bluetop milk
My little boy who has a bit of an eating disorder.
He is 5 and has never had a hot meal in his life 8O.
Has 2 in the morning 2 in the afternoon and 2 in the evening.
[quote=chip spake unto the masses, saying]My mate as a kid used to get weetabix with no milk but rather slathered with butter as an evening treat.
With marmalade or lemon curd on top. Perfect after you get home from work.
2 at home if I'm not riding, if I cycle to work then 3 when I get to the office.
I don't have them very often, but when I do it's at least 3, more likely 4 or 5.
And whilst we're on the subject, how, in this day and age have they not come up with a better way to package them. It's like the sodding Krypton Factor trying to get them out without making a mess!
Ahh you'll be buying own brand biscuits. Weatabix have gone back to the proper paper wrapping.
My one year old daughter is currently eating between 2 and 3 😯
It's all dependent on the size of the bowl.
They must be laid down [completely] flat, bathed in cold milk (semi) to a depth equal to half their height. Leave to soak while you put the milk away then immediately flip them over and demolish before they get too soggy.
For me this means they go down like animals on the ark....two by two.
Two, on a bed of uncooked porridge oats mixed with a crumbled
chocolate nutrigrain bar, then doused in cold milk.
Sunday Morning pre-ride.
3 Weetabix + 1 large banana + 2 large dollops of crunchy peanut butter into blender + enough milk to cover, good blend
4 is a normal breakfast. I might try and force down 6 if I'm away out for a long ride.
Once in my student days I finished a packet on the last day of a snowboarding trip (no waste and keep me going cheaply). I think there were 8 left... might've been more...
This is a revelation! I eat Weetabix for breakfast every single day. I only ever have 2 - no wonder I am always starving by 10.30..!
4 golden syrup flavor .
I once visited the factory in the late nineties, quite a pleasant smell to the place, the canteen did a good bacon/egg breakfast, I think its been fully modernised since.
I have recently taken to Banana Weetabix, love it.
I have two at a time. Twice if I'm not running late for work.
But only if I have remembered to get milk in, which isn't that often sadly.
not weetabix but oatibix, faaaaar superior 🙂
3 oatibix with an unflavoured protein shake, left go go soggy. nomnomnom.
6 most mornings, 4 if on a diet.
Maximum score was 14, after a long foodless car journey as a 10 year old.
2 in the bowl, convex side up, cold semi skimmed and a dash of sugar.
My primary school record stands at 7 in one sitting.
These days nine as they give me awful heartburn.
No wonder if you eat nine 😉
6 weetabix? Good god, 2 is ample unless you're going to be miles from civilisation and a piece of fruit at 10.30.

Carpet eating is a different topic entirely.
Good grief I thought I had hollow legs.
The correct answer is two clearly, leaving room for toast and marmalade. Soak at half thickness for 50/50 gooey/crunchy mouthfuls, no sugar.
4 in two sittings but you do have to eat them as fast as possible because soggy weetabix are an abomination.
You also have to have a thick but even layer of sugar.
They must be laid down [completely] flat, bathed in cold milk (semi) to a depth equal to half their height. Leave to soak while you put the milk away then immediately flip them over and demolish before they get too soggy.
Back in the day this too was my preferred technique - though with a fine layer of sugar applied after the reversal. Used to do 12 every morning without fail. Now I've grown up, just the 4, no sugar, and have ventured into other cereals.
Used to do 12 every morning without fail.
In a bucket?
I once watched an old woman butter one and eat it
2 is the answer for optimum digestion without spiking blood sugar levels apparently 💡
I rarely eat them these days. There is often a box in the larder, for when my more usual breakfast cereal is out of stock.
One beery night at Cowes Week I had a dry weetabix eating competition with a chum - the winner was he who could eat half a tube without resorting to any liquid at all. As if a normal hangover didn't dehydrate the occupier enough...
Four would be my normal portion, possibly five or six if I'm hungrier than usual.
My son set a PB of four when he was still two (almost three) years old. Hasn't bettered it, now aged four, although has equalled it now and again. Having said that, this morning he had three slices of toast and a big bowl of rice crispies, so he could probably set a new record sometime soon.
5 for me allows all the weetabix to sit at the same depth in the ice cold milk.
mate at works a bit of a food monster and downed a full pack (24) in 13 mins a few weeks ago after being challenged by us. we'd looked in the guinness book of records and couldnt find anything relevant so tried to get his name in there.
they told us to send em the video, but never got back in touch :-/

Weirdo. Impressive tho.

Agreed.
Crunchy Nut Cornflakes with milk that is just above it's freezing point is the only way.
Normally just one buried under a mountain of frosties/corn flakes.
Four or five if just weetabix on their own
Two. An extra one one race days. Milk, no sugar. Preferably the banana ones.
I thought butter and jam was standard operating procedure, no? What were you all eating in the 70's?
Three normally. Two isn't enough bit of a push getting four in my cereal bowl.
Crunchy Nut Cornflakes with milk that is just above it's freezing point is the only way.
Now, if we're talking about CNCFs then I can recommend a (small) bowl with double cream instead of milk.
various people talking about only 2 weetabix
It's your breakfast, not an amuse bouche!
They must be laid down [completely] flat, bathed in cold milk (semi) to a depth equal to half their height. Leave to soak while you put the milk away then immediately flip them over and demolish before they get too soggy.
So right.
Mini-likes-food scoffs 3 or 4 every morning using the disgusting (in my eyes) technique of mashing them to a paste then essentially inhaling them from the spoon. I know, manners... but it's the morning and getting him to the table fully dressed is a win.
4 and 6 prunes 🙂
I eat 6, one in the bowel at a time so as not to go soggy and flip them over to get even saturation.
I also eat the mini ones but not sure on numbers and don't eat them one at a time.
2.5 for me!2 is too few, 3 a bit much.

Mash them up for me.
2.5 for me too. 1.5 for my son. 1 for my daughter. the little one prefers his ready brek
it has to be mashed up with warm milk and sugar...takes less than 60 seconds to wolf it down
tried it with cold milk once....never again
