In a 1 mile radius I don't think there can be more than 100.

About 11,000 in my council ward.

4.4 per square kilometre.

3210 apparently. Nice little North Yorkshire market town/large village.

2418 here.. in over 12 square miles

Not sure how many live in Gateshead, but over the bridge there is the same amount of people living in Newcastle as the UK Border agency have not removed from the country

The Government tells us the people whom live in Newham East London
that there are 64,000 are living in this Borough.

Our local councils magazine is saying there is actually 308,000
that are actually living here from the information given in their Census

How many people do you think are in your area to what the Government say !

Are you perhaps mixing up the size of your parliamentary constituency with the size of your London borough ?

I would take whatever figure the government gives for how many people are living in your area as fairly precise.

Unless you can come up with a really good conspiracy theory as to why the government might want to lie about the size of your local population ?

Growing and approaching half a million which is a surprise to me

Around 5000 in my apartment complex alone, maybe 70,000 in the immediate area (i.e. 5 sq miles), sometimes I miss living in rural Bershire!

Well I'm being told about 7 billion but really, how do they know?
