thats pretty much what I thought when I read that this morning.

Slow news day at the Beeb...so jump on some spurious PR guff from Sony as the anniversary approaches....

what a pointless article. Why didn't he strap a gramophone to his head for maximum comic effect?

Dam straight with the ghettoblaster. The kids of today with their castrated tinny little sounds coming from titchy mobiles don't know what they're missing.
Thank christ! (or whatever other person, creature, pebble your belief system gives thanks to)

as I said on Twitter a couple hours ago:

@shedfire do 13yr olds really use turns of phrase like 'my cherished maxim is: portable music is better than no music.'?

It's a joke isn't it.

Most 13 year old talk like Rudeboy types.

On the ghetto blaster - was in Vancouver recently, guy roller blading about Stanley Park all day with one about the same size. Never got a good look at it, but could have been a iPod docking station. Old Skool.

The chap carrying the large ghetto blaster does look somewhat er, fitter, one might say, than the child used to carrying a lightweight, modern piece of equipment.
