Had window replaced including some replastering (onto brick)?
Would quite like to put curtains up so kids don't wake up at 3am.
Do I have to wait? If so, how long?

for drilling I wouldnt bother waiting too long if you really need to get the rail up - assuming its not much deeper than a 1/4"-1/2" to the brick?
no painting though till it's gone off properly.

I am an ex-plasterer,If it was plastered onto brick he will have used 2 coats, the finishing will not have gone on until the 1st coat has set (browning I'm guessing)
