e2-e5 🙂
e5-e7
unfertilised, now **** off
D4 or even E3.
I don't have the patience to wait for anything beyond that.
A similar chart for tea strength/colour to be used in the workplace would be useful.
Strength and milk quantity as the axes.
I'm relatively tolerant to variations in toast.....
On that chart.....I'd be happy with anything between a diagonal line from j1-a9 and f1-e6 inclusive.
Worst toast is when it goes mega brittle & dry, which I think happens if it's toasted at a lower temp for a long time.
...I like mine with a smile. 😉
Ah yes toast I remember that
F3 or E5
On the side of a big fry up.
Probably e5ish.
Does this deserve a graph- what are the two axes?
As long as it's triangular cut I'm really not fussy
Diagonal from A6 - F1 are all pretty much the same and my kinda toast. As vinney says, it doesn't really need a 2d chart, a simple line would do.
well weak tea with naff all milk (bleurgh) is similar in colour to strong tea with loadsa milk (mmm) so in that case a simple colour line would not do.Strength and milk quantity as the axes.
Hmm, triangles are OK for toast and spread of your choice but useless for loading up with the components of your full english. As long as it's triangular cut I'm really not fussy
under some baked beans 😕
p.s. we have the worlds shittiest and slowest morphy richards toaster to have any kind of control of how the toast comes out so to be able pick a preference is not an option.
p.p.s they all look to uniformly toasted to, no half burnt option, also need to see the reverse side as one of the slots will burn one side and leave the other uncooked.
F1 please and a cup of black tea with half a spoon of sugar.
PS
6am wake up call please
About E6 but it MUST be cold and spread thickly with a quality butter like Président then thick-cut marmalade.
No melted butter and no marge.
I want Marg on hot toast. Can you use half a tub on each slice so it's all melted in.
Thank you 🙂
Diagonal from A6 - F1 are all pretty much the same and my kinda toast.
Me too. Hot, with butter or marg, not picky. Decent marmalade, jam, honey or Marmite depending on how I'm feeling.
D3-E5 I'm fussy alright.
E3 with a poached egg for me
e3 and made by the lovely lithe brunette who's wearing my hoodie 😈
Mains powered.

though as I don't keep bread in the house that is unlikely
c4.
*off to make toast now*
Man made
E3-e6 with lots of lurpak,or Honey. Missus shows it the butter and puts it back in the fridge.
Tea black and coffee black
About E6 but it MUST be cold
First mention of temperature. VERY important! I used to be 'cold' but I'm more 'just warm enough so the butter doesn't liquefy' these days. It's a fine line.
f3-f6,hot with plenty of butter melted in,and HP sauce.
I think I'll just go and make some.
G-5 please, butter, Marmite, houmous. 😛

What is this, Claridges? Square cut, no nonsense.
A1-A4
Buttered as soon as out of the toaster
With Lotus biscoff spread
Smeared in Bovril so it looks like C9
Still waiting 🙁
4 b
but, only done one side, the toasted side has loads of butter and peanut butter, then rolled up like a spring roll and at least 6 slices a session 🙂
e4 left to go cold then marged - I am a heathen and I have no shame
G3 to G5.
Got to properly caramelise those sugars...
somewhere along the diagonal from '7' to 'g'.
just warm enough to make the crunchy peanut butter a little bit gooey.
or, cold and marmaladey.
In a business class seat of a Virgin Atlantic flight to New York City.
G- h 4 for me.
Just before it goes black.
3D for me. Just warm enough to melt butter, still doughy in the middle.
Bagels on the other hand need to be shown the toaster at most. I run mine on the 0 setting.
D-3-4 ish
HOT, BUTTERED, MELTY, GOODNESS
Potential toppings
marmite
strawbery jam
blackcurrant jam
occasional marmalade
