D4 or even E3.

I don't have the patience to wait for anything beyond that.

A similar chart for tea strength/colour to be used in the workplace would be useful.

Strength and milk quantity as the axes.

I'm relatively tolerant to variations in toast.....

On that chart.....I'd be happy with anything between a diagonal line from j1-a9 and f1-e6 inclusive.

Worst toast is when it goes mega brittle & dry, which I think happens if it's toasted at a lower temp for a long time.

Diagonal from A6 - F1 are all pretty much the same and my kinda toast. As vinney says, it doesn't really need a 2d chart, a simple line would do.

Strength and milk quantity as the axes.
well weak tea with naff all milk (bleurgh) is similar in colour to strong tea with loadsa milk (mmm) so in that case a simple colour line would not do.

As long as it's triangular cut I'm really not fussy
Hmm, triangles are OK for toast and spread of your choice but useless for loading up with the components of your full english.

under some baked beans 😕

p.s. we have the worlds shittiest and slowest morphy richards toaster to have any kind of control of how the toast comes out so to be able pick a preference is not an option.

p.p.s they all look to uniformly toasted to, no half burnt option, also need to see the reverse side as one of the slots will burn one side and leave the other uncooked.

About E6 but it MUST be cold and spread thickly with a quality butter like Président then thick-cut marmalade.

No melted butter and no marge.

I want Marg on hot toast. Can you use half a tub on each slice so it's all melted in.
Thank you 🙂

Me too. Hot, with butter or marg, not picky. Decent marmalade, jam, honey or Marmite depending on how I'm feeling.

About E6 but it MUST be cold

First mention of temperature. VERY important! I used to be 'cold' but I'm more 'just warm enough so the butter doesn't liquefy' these days. It's a fine line.

but, only done one side, the toasted side has loads of butter and peanut butter, then rolled up like a spring roll and at least 6 slices a session 🙂

or, cold and marmaladey.

3D for me. Just warm enough to melt butter, still doughy in the middle.

Bagels on the other hand need to be shown the toaster at most. I run mine on the 0 setting.
