Is it possible to save a complete email to your harddrive as you can with Outlook etc. with a Hotmail email? I'm not just talking about the attachments, the email as a whole.
cheers
forward it to an account where it can be opened in outlook? you could add the account into outlook and get the emails that way....
samuri - can you do POP3 type lookups with Hotmail?
Not as far as I'm aware. Outbound mail is just SMTP and the connector uses an https connection to collect emails. You do need to install the microsoft connector though.
In theory there are POP3 settings for Hotmail but I could not get them to work. The easiest thing is to download the free Outlook connector for Hotmail from the MS website HERE. Hotmail then appears as another mail account within Outlook. I think the default setting is for it to delete mail from the server when downloading, so uncheck this if you want to save the messages on the server as well
