After recent problems on my pc I have decided to format the harddrive and do a new instalation of windows XP. I would like to reinstall my Office 2003 as well. How do I go about to backup or save or export my contacts in MS Outlook?

find the .pst file and copy onto a removeable drive - put into new pc, delete pst file and paste in your new one

In Outlook go to File, Import and Export. Then follow the steps in the wizard - selecting
Export to a File
Choose .pst
Select the Contacts folder
Then name the file and decide where to put it.
