Somewhat random ask but this is where STW often excels.

if anyone has a Cadbury's heroes tub,  (plastic,  round) to hand, could you measure the internal diameter at the bottom please?

  • Diameter/Width: ~235mm - 238mm (approx. 9.3 - 9.4 inches)
  • Height: ~76mm - 94mm (approx. 3 - 3.7 inches)

Slightly too small for a cake cooked in a 23cm tin. Wouldn't quite fit one cooleddue to tapering and sticky out bits. NB cake tin diameter is nominal cm but probably closer to nominal inches.

Maybe not,  but that is perfect to fit a Skywatcher explorer 200p,  to the mm!  Thank you!

Surely the question should be "how small is a Hero's tin"?

Pretty sure the vintage will have an impact too, last Halloween/Christmas the depth dropped significantly from the year before, weirdly the price remained similar/went up. 🧐
