Our laptops gone mad and so as it's under warranty we're going to take it back to PC world this weekend. I reckon they are just going to swap it for another, or at the very least, fiddle about with the hard drive in some way. Just in case they delete everything, what's the best way for me to completely back up the contents?
I've got a 2TB external hard drive I can use.
And before anyone says - no it's not full of porn. It's the family laptop you dirty minded bunch.

If it's the same Windows as mine, inside 'control panel' there's a choice - backup and restore, the system does the rest onto the HD you've plugged in.
So easy that I can do it.
