going to see a house tomorrow advertised with an agent - GRRR
anyway - they want 2 months rent as a deposit - not an issue
but rent is advertised as "around 695" does that mean we make an offer and they will consider it or does it mean they havnt actually decided on the final rent yet.....
i have a feeling its the former but want to be forwarned rather than going in blind tomorrow
former. they'll take offers.
If they hold out for a higher headline rent, then maybe pitch for some rent free.
"If they hold out for a higher headline rent, then maybe pitch for some rent free"
perhaps im being dumb here or half asleep (which is highly likely) but urm - what ?
**** em i dont like the house "that much" that im paying more.... if someone else does they can have it .... they are being very specific in their stipulations nayway - no kids - no pets - no dss - its quite a big house for 2 but its in the right location
If they say they wont go below, say 650, but in your heart if you reckon its £600, get the difference by demanding 1 month rent free.
this is aberdeen - they will be wanting 750 im fairly sure of it ... im not giving it them - if i dont get it i wont loose sleep
Cheers anyhoo
they already changed the advert - its in 1.5 acres of landscaped ground and i refused to even look at it with that ....
now it comes with a weekly gardener included in the rental through the summer months .... i suspect that the ground put folks off !
£600 per month without the gardener and get a goat! 😀
haha - i suggested that as a joke to the mrs when i first saw it ... but its not just grass its an actual garden .... goat would result in utter carnage ....
she suggested she could do the grass in her new found time off (part time teacher) having spent many a summer as a labourer ive seen the carnage that just missing 1 week on that much grass would have !
