My Friends house burnt down last night ,her daughter was away and her lodger awoke and dragged her out. Nobody hurt but house exploded 3 min later (gas bottle).The house is trashed and all and i mean everything they owned is gone. Turns out they rent and have no contents cover.I feel very sad and just needed to get off my chest as they have nothing now.Both have min wage jobs and were struggling .There but for the grace of god and all that . Please check your smoke alarms and get contents cover NOW even if you rent get contents (your Landlord will sort out buildings,)

Years ago I found out a mate from university died overnight in his home due to a gas leak. Horrible.
