You can choose only one (unless like me you have both in your kitchen), which is it?

I would like all 3 .

Wafer the runaway choice so far, but have you had the dark chocolate tea cakes yet? Taste sensation.

Never had a caramel log, rarely seen outside of their native Scotland. Actually, I'm sure that Snowballs used to be fairly widely available in England, but I haven't seen one since the mid-90's!

Tea cake. Wafer is shite in comparison, not even enough sugar to make a toddler hyper 🙄

THE WAFER IS POINTLESS, INFINITELY INFERIOR TO A DRIFTER.

Of the two in the title I'd choose wafer; but really the wafer is merely a warm up for the caramel log.

Wafer, every time. Teacake is nice an all but unless you're willing to eat the whole box full then your always left wanting more. Wafer is just right.

So it's settled- Caramel Wafer is for men, and the 'teacake' is for little fairy cupcake crybabies!

Caramel logs trump wafers every time. Faced with wafer or teacake, teacake every time.

Aren't tea cakes banned on flights or something because they tend to explode with the internal/external pressure differential?

Surely the correct answer is 'both' though? The tea cake is a palette cleanser for the wafer?

A wise man once told me that there is no pleasure in life quite like smashing a Tunnock's Teacake on one's forehead.

He was right.

Tunnocks are missing a opportunity here for a special edition take a Caramel wafer and have the very top layer with a nice marshmallow topping coated in chocolate ,best of both worlds then!

Oh and it needs to be about a Third bigger for best effect.

I have never eaten a caramel wafer in my 43 years. Am I missing out on some kind of sweet epiphany?

The Log is made out of the bits swept up off the factory floor where the Wafer is made. True dat. Still brilliant though. If biscuits could fight, it'd be the hardest of them all, its desire to elevate itself beyond its humble beginnings spurring it on against less motivated rivals.
