I’ve just had the renewal come through from M&S for the house insurance.
Can any recommend any other insurers that will cover bikes etc?
Green Bee who are John Lewis finance bit and Hiscox - insurance for rich people
I'm on Zurich. Cover my bike(s) as a specified item.
Norwich Union IIRC - but they only cover upto £1500 per bike (but as many bikes as you want) - but they were good value if that level of cover was sufficient.
I am also with M&S but this is my first year with them and no renewal notice yet - but there have been a lot of previous threads about them hiking their premiums in year 2 etc. Whether this is only linked to those that have made a claim I am not sure.
We had a claim but that was over a year and a half ago so have renewed since then. It will be year 4 with them.
I'll have to do some ringing around I think as on-line quotes seem to be hard to establish what they cover.
Then see what M&S will do to keep my business.
Try online, that's what I did last time. Came out cheaper than the renewal notice.
