Hi, bit of a weird one but me and mate saw a rather big dog sprinting across the countryside while riding up on the tops around Kentmere yesterday. It looked a bit like a fox but it was much bigger and it wasn't red. It was definitely on it's own, nobody else was daft enough to be up there!
Has anyone seen anything similar?

They do a dog racing thing in north England, was on radio Scotland out of doors show a while back, dogs race over something like a 6 mile course, following a route that has been marked with a paraffin soaked rag.
Canny remember what they call the event though.
