I'm mainly a lurker here and get the idea that I know few people on here, virtually. One of the other forums I use, the one that led me here, uses hotseats, where users are nominated or volunteer themselves (usually volunteers) to take a hot seat, where everyone else is allowed to ask them any question, subject to the mods' rules. They have to answer truthfully, but also with no comeback, not on thread anyway.

Sounds like it would be a bit like Twitter - utterly pointless unless the person is famous or is a leader in some interesting field, and even then barely justifying itself.
