Please can you recommend somewhere to stay near Snowdon for two adults, one toddler and a large dog?
We only want two nights (probably Wed and Thur). I plan to ride Snowdon (up Llanberis Path and down Ranger Path) on one day and walk with family and dog the other(s). My wife won't camp and the short stay means we're restricted to hotels and B&Bs. So what's good (and will accept dog and child)? Thanks.

Yep, was planning on doing it early morning to avoid too many walkers and so I meet them head-on while descending rather than sneaking up on them from behind!!
I can highly recommend the Pen-Y-Gwyrd hotel, at the bottom of the pass on the other side from Llanberis. You get a pretty much authentic Victorian experience, which is rather special. Although, heaven help you if you enter the dining room before they band the gong for dinner....
