Does anyone make their own gluten free muesli? Is it even worth doing from a cost point-of-view? If the answer is yes, care to share your recipes?

Real Foods in Edinburgh do a variety of muesli, I think they have a gluten free one also. All the ones I've tried are much nicer than supermarket type stuff, including 'posh' stuff like Dorset Cereals, etc.

You can buy bulk too as its sat in big cardboard barrels.

Not sure how much it costs tbh either homemade or shops

Millet flakes
Gluten free oatflakes
Some other forget the name- Buckwheat?
Flaked cocounut -
Various dried fruits and seeds

Sorry as I realise that is not that helpful

That's what I get Hora, kind of. I am fine with porridge (I have it every morning) but muesli sits heavily on my stomach. I concede it may be a wheat thing, rather than a gluten thing, but you mostly get one with the other.

Have you tried lactose-free milk?

I buy Holland and Barrett muesli base. They do a gluten free one which is oats with no wheat, or some such, as its the wheat gluten that causes some folk problems.

I then add whatever dried fruit, seeds etc that is in the cupboard, normally slice a banana on to it.

And I have it with orange juice, or similar, or water if I have no juice.
