Remote web app controlled/wifi relayed sockets.

I reckon a couple of dozen of these linked to lamps in bedroom windows and you could send Morse code messages from your house 🙂

I have loads of stuff plugged in through a standard Home Easy remote system.

Makes things easier if you have lots of lamps etc to turn off before you go to bed.

Like the idea of an iPhone version though 🙂

is it just me thinking the killer app for this is scaring the missus when she's home alone?

I had some of the AlertMe ones. Much to my wires dismay as I turned her bedside lamp off from downstairs on the internet 🙂

Just about to move house and will be getting remote heating controls

I have a raspberry pi on the way and am thinking of exciting things to do with one, I reckon a little home automation might be on the cards...

British Gas has some great new kit. I've got one of the remote heating control stats ready to install.
