Looking for sun,sea,beach,bars, good food and some villages/towns with character and some sites/history to visit by hire car with the missus
mountains and lakes in background a bonus 🙂
no need for night clubs and larger louts or mtb
the usually stuff
went to Thassos Greece last year and liked that a lot
any recommendations welcome

Orkney, various sites, good scenery etc
Crete, ditto, might be sunnier
