I did a walk about 2 years ago and I am trying to find/remember the name...its driving me mad...can anyone help ! LOL
A few clues...it was fairly close to this centre..
National Park Visitor Centre, Libanus, Brecon, Powys, LD3 8ER.
There was an extremely busy car park at the start, 2 of them I think and it was a nice climb upto the top (describing pretty much all routes).
I have some pictures that may also help...anyone ?
Izzit Pen-y-Fan?
looks a bit like pen y fan... might be totally wrong though...!
Looks more like Corn Du - the next door neighbour to Pen y Fan. Looks like the walk started from Storey Arms
and the other way is fan y big...... (s****)
just looked at my OS.. if you started in Libanus you would have wobbled up the hill to corn Du, and continued to Pen y Fan summit, so there you go!
I remember it having quite wide path which was full of visitors/tourists.
I am also pretty sure there was an old red phonebox at the start by the car park ?
Cheers guys, it is the route that starts from the base of the Storey Arms outdoor centre.
Just found a detailed picture of it, the route was doing my head in as I could not remember what is was called. 😀
