A few of these were bouncing into our back door:

When put on their back they seem to get stuck and unable to turn them selves back over.

Any ideas?

😕 Isn't that typical of all beetles ?

Any ideas?

Turn them back onto their fronts ? 💡

Ta a quick google seem to confirm they're cockchafer's, there are oak trees near our house and general insect moving noise coming from that area.

Always thought a cockchafer was a brand new pair of riding shorts....

cockchafer. sometimes known as a maybug. it's a beetle. I think it's harmless, certainly to humans
