I'm 41 and read it as a child so it would have been about mid 80s, more male orientated I reckon.
It was about a child (a boy?) or 2 siblings that had magic spots on their hands which when they touched started them on magical adventures. I'm thinking the name was captain something but may be wrong. It's driving me crazy, please help.
