So fingers crossed, shortly we will be exchanging and will for the first time have a garage, and I'm pretty chuffed.
I want to do a bit of furniture restoration / have a go at building my own plus stuff for the kids like a wooden playhouse.
What tools do I need? Currently all I have a tools for building bikes and a drill.
Looking a t a course at the local colleague around Easter time.

Dust extractor should be top of the list (if you plan on using the garage for anything else).
A mitre saw and table saw make life a lot easier.
