I'm going to be based at Gatwick from the 8th Feb until 19th March getting my A320 type rating. Can't afford a hotel or B&B for 6 weeks so hoping for suggestions on possible alternatives!
Rooms for let don't seem to cater for the short term - does anyone on here live near Gatwick, or know someone nearby who's looking for a well-behaved lodger?

When my ex was down there for 7 weeks training for Virgin i asked the same question on here. Someone replied on here that he regularly rents a room out, house was nice, the folks were great and didn't charge too much.
Sadly i can't remember his name/forum name and the details were on the old site so can't search..Hope he spots this thread for you
I know somebody that rented rooms out in a multi occupancy house- not sure what it's like but think it was close, used by a few cabin crew. Email me if you want contact details.
