I live under a rock with my 26" bike. I just rebuilt my front and back shock and drain and refild some hope x2 evo brakes. The front was fine, the back not so much. But its been over 10 years. Should have been done sooner. I've been riding a gravel bike recently. It's the first drop bar bike I've ever owned and its been a whale of a time.
I'm in the market for a new ride. Plan to have it done by August. Most fun bike I have had was a hard tail with 140mm coil bombers.
