I keep on getting called from 0845 4110910, this time I answered and all i got was someone shouting "Hello? Hello?".

And they said they were from Sky Television, asked if it was a good time...to which I responded, not really...and they hung up.

According to the internet it might not be Sky at all...anyone know who I can call to get them to feltch off?

Nice to see 'felch' breezes past the swear filter. It's the dog-whistle of swearing.

Seems like it's genuine, they're trying to get rid of the old Thomson boxes (and with good reason).

Discussion here and links to several other similar threads:

Assuming you're a customer with a crappy Thomson box, I'd suggest ringing Sky on the regular number and telling them to a) give you a non-crap box and b) then naff orf.

What, even if you own your own box already?

I'd be surprised if there were many people left with Thomson boxes that aren't out of warranty.

ta.

I'll phone Sky and find out what their beef is.

Guess I could have done that in the first place instead of asking the STW massive.
