Come to that I'm quite impressed that she's having a go (after 2 months of paddling) even if she doesn't make it.

Namibia Ultramarathon. Arguably not quite as hard as the MdS, but still pretty tough.
It's got nothing to do with the wealth of the country more for their liking of fresh water fish.
