soo after many visits to docs and a clear MRI scan i went for an x-ray today to see if my neck has degenerated with age...
still getting 'Tension Headches', been on few weeks of tablets but nothing helps.... x-ray results back in a weeks time,,,,..
im using a roll on head application that has a soothing menthol/ eucalyptus properties..it gives you about 15 mins of pain relief its called '4head' and available at Boots...
but i just wish the pain would disapear ... never had 'head pain' lioke this before...yep i had another thread about this but just updating at the mo...
was speaking to the Doc today and he said the pysio i can do myself by doing excersized from the tinternet-neck excersies...
he has been to see Chiropractors in the past but becomes terribly expensive (of which i cant afford but he said you feel great for the next 24 hours but then you pain is back agin so costing you more money into chiropractors...
i have been dong quote a few certain head and neck execises from youtube.....yesterday i had a full day where i felt great and no head pain... but today its a tight 'head band' head pain' and thumping.... truely fed up of this now after 8 weeks... no pain relievers seem to help.. not even ibuprofen...
apparently your only supposed to stay on pain killers for a few days at atime cos you body gets used to the tablets and actually can increase the pain you are having..... its just 'annoying' and so im just having another moan (lol)
Try a massage from a proper massage (sports massage?) therapist.
Long shot I know, and i'm really not trying to be flippant, but I remember reading somewhere that small amounts of LSD or magic mushrooms have been known to relieve frequent headaches.
Might be worth trying, doesnt sound like much else is working.

These remedies have been mentioned in connection with Cluster Headaches, more likely they distract you than have any medicinal effect
Have you tried Sumitriptan, think its sold as Imigran in the chemist. Not cheap at 8 quid per 100mg which is one dose, but worth a try
I use this in injection form along with the tablets and nasal sprays for Cluster Headache and its very effective as an abortive treatment
Sometimes need to resort to a short high dose of Steroids (Prednisolone 60mg a day for five days)to break up a very bad attack
Don't for one minute think you have CH, but the Sumitriptan could be worth a shot if ordinary painkillers have no effect

That's Imigran Recovery. It's available over the counter, but you'll have to be cross-examined by the pharmacist first. Once you've passed their tests, they should give you a card so that you don't have to go through that faff again.
im alergic to Shrooms (mushrooms) 😉
