If not, here's another:
Is anyone else thinking that Android 2.1 is a waste of f***ing space? I'm pretty sure it's slower and causing a memory leak on my Hero. I never used to start the day with 70meg of RAM and end up with 30MEG, having done nowt all day.
I'm not sure if it's email, task killer or another app, or the OS itself that causes the problem.
Anyone else having this sort of problem? Got a solution (that doesn't involve buying a different phone)?
I find it a faster at some things, slower at others.
There's a lot of different bugs in it than V1.5, and some of them are chuffing annoying - like opening hyperlinks in a new window - sometimes it recognises the link i've pressed but on other times it just tries to do the other stuff.
On the whole I prefer it though, google maps navigation is great for free.
There are a LOT of things running in the background I found when I changed to a better task-killer app (still free though), battery life was crap til i sorted it out.
