Le the mockery continue. It will just make me even more glad I got one.

I received mine in January after it was stuck in my sorting office. It was £50? £55? Too long a go to care.

Yes there is a little artistic licence to the shape... but so what. It's Jo B's creation and he can do what he wants with it. It's pretty much exactly what he told us they would be (this shape, this style) and the punters made their decision on that information.

For a lovely piece of one-off jewellery, never to be repeated, cute and dinky silver, a reminder of why and inspiration for the soul? Priceless.

but junkyard, you are not the gifted sheepsketching god that Mr Burt is and therefore you meagre efforts would be soundly mocked and you would be the proud owner of many thousands of bits of metal tat! 😉

good point. However I was planning on farming it out to some workshop where[s] small children[/s] highly trained artisan workers could make them [s]for a pittance[/s] of suitable high quality to satisfy [s] muppets [/s] my refined customer base.
I would be out of pocket for about £50 I reckon 😉

So to summarise: you guys are just trying to hype up some piece of tat that you ordered 13 years ago when £50 was worth £50 quid?

Then today a piece of pewter arrives after all the rest of us have had to listen to said 13 years of whinging from you in the longest running whinging thread ever and now all of a sudden you're telling us that it's great?

I foresee a self appreciating spiral that means these are now "worth" infinetly more than you originally paid?

Yeah but look at the quality of that bootlace, it'll only get better with age. You guys don't know how lucky you are!

Cheap IKEA table dude. I think the 'colour' is 'birch'.

I foresee a self appreciating spiral...

You wish! I'm saying I like it. 8) Despite the price, despite the wait, I still like it.

bootlace

I replaced the fabric 'thong' it came on with a piece of waxed leather cord, tied it in a loop with a pair of slipknots to tighten it up without having to unite it.

I don't wear jewellery.. or keyrings.. but that is rather appealing..

Disappointing thread though..
I was hoping for a nicely drawn cartoon from 'that other mag' depicting a load of fat spotty grumbling men sat behind keyboards bleating insults to each other from rooms covered with bike porn but containing no evidence of actual bike ownership.. while mint and his mates shrug bewildered as they pedal their freedom through romantically poetic mindscapes..
