Thinking of going to Morocco in Easter with the wife and two boys aged 9 & 7. Thinking of spending 5 days in ans around Marrakesh and 5 days on the coast at Essouria.
Has anybody done a similar trip and can recommend riads that are nice but accept children as well.
Also has anybody got any tips what to do with the kids, I was thinking camel ridesin the Sahara, pony trekking in the Atlas.
If it's anything like Egypt or Turkey, I personally couldn't be doing with it.
Hate all the shop keepers trying to get you to buy their guff and having to haggle for *every* purchase made outside of the hotel.
They love kids over there, you will be fine.
Had a week there in Nov.
Very easy to get around too - think about a few days in Essauria - v easy to get a taxi there from Marakesh

Was there a few weeks ago, Essouria is an amazing place, really good seafood and even in December the beaches were swimable though it would be a half-day trip itself getting to the atlas/sahara.
