As a gay dragon I find that offensive too.
I helped make a dragon for the scouts St George's Day parade - flashing eyes, smoke and roaring (I was amused to overhear a couple of people commenting "apparently it's controlled from a mobile phone", to which I could reply "yes, this one"). I'll post some pics/video when I've edited out the kids.
I'm not sure what sexuality (or even gender) our dragon is.
