Just to counter all the negative threads I've been reading, thought I'd just post a quick note of thanks to James (thinboy70) for a transaction that wasn't exactly smooth but turned out well.
Agreed to buy RP23, paid and it arrived quickly in a couple of days.
Sadly the shock was leaking at the rebound (James hadn't noticed) so he refunded, got the shock fixed by mojo under warrenty and then honoured the same price minus postage. He was even quite gracious when for some reason my bank refused to transfer funds to paypal for the second payment, and I sent via BT.
All in, happy, just shows there are honest sellers out there too
Excellent, good to hear it all worked out. Personally I've not had problems on the classifieds, but being more wary now does mean that sometimes people's emails about a specific product their selling makes me wonder...
I'm fully intending to do similar (ie post good feedback) when I get home and hold of the various bits and bobs I've bought recently on the classifieds.
