Monster Mash[/url] by Bobby 'Boris' Picket and the Cryptkickers

I don't know why, but for years (and until quite recently) I always thought it was a Beach Boys track

Yeah - I don't mind him TBF. And I also quite like that new-ish Take That single (no idea what it is called). I have a wide range of musical tatstes and not elitist about who I like.

The Monster Mash - great call 🙂

And how about Scary Monsters and Super Creeps - Bowie
Kill Me: Space
Psycho Killer: Talking Heads (great track - might just play that now....)
Killing in the Name of: RATM
Kill You: Eninem

Careful with that axe, Eugene by Pink Floyd. lots of gentle build up, followed by whispered "Careful with that axe, Eugene" then 5 minutes of blood-curdling screams.

I must remember to get some card tricks ready for when the local kids come on Halloween. It surprises them when they say "Trick or Treat" and then get the answer "Trick...pick a card"

Well
i have the tocatta in d minor (rollerball theme music)
I think the organs and such would make it fairly trippy at a halloween party, let me know if you want it.

Also have the song from The Thing, its fairly slow but atmospehric and eiry its called 'the thing humanity part 1'

after dark - tito & tarantula (from dusk till dawn sexy lap dancer song) kerwality...

also greg wilsons essential mix with Talking Heads ‘Psycho Killer’ (GW Edit) on it, not scary just quality song & mix..

Try some Elend for atmospheric darkness, "A World In Their Screams" perhaps. It won't get anyones toes tapping though.

Have a listen to one of internet radio DJ Dave The Spazz's Hallowe'en shows - http://wfmu.org/playlists/shows/29137 - loads of great stuff in there, I particularly like "Goo Goo Muck" by Ronnie Cook and the Gaylads, as covered by the Cramps.

There's an album by Half Japanese that has 26 songs about monsters, from Abominable Snowman to Zombie

The Meteors (In Heaven album, for choice - nice sick music that everyone can dance to). 😀

The Cramps always go down well at parties.

'Twas Screaming Lord Sutch who did Jack the Ripper was it not?

That would be a great Hallowe'en album. Basically just a dub record, but with spooky sound effects, mad cackling etc. on every track.

I'm a bit disappointed that "Scientist Wins the World Cup" doesn't have crowd noise, football chants and whistles.

I stand very much corrected - the leader of the Monster Raving Looney Party too. I should know 'cos I went to see him at the York University ball circa 1987
