...and a dram to follow
nomnomnomnomnom slurp! 😀
been there (an hour ago), done that 🙂 yummy.
would love to join you fella's but can't as wife a Scottish veggie 😳
plus not fussed on the small haggi from the supermarkets down south
Yup, missus had it all out (ooer, haggis neaps and tatties that is) when I got in from work, had almost forgotten. Even Whisky on the table (Gelnkinchie, a nice smooth dram) and oatcakes with cheddar. A rare treat in Schweiz, felt like my birthday. Even the 4 yr old tried haggis and quiet liked it!
Marvellous!
I went to wetherspoons today for haggis and a pint for £3.99. They ran out yesterday!
Good job I had it on friday!
agreed, very very nice indeed.
20 mins and its out the oven ...canna wait
Going to finish off my Black Bun tonight!! 😛
I'm sheiting through the eye of a needle and have been throwing up most of today so as much as I'd love to (everything is in the fridge) But I don't think it would be a 'glorious sight' 😮
Is all that lot lobbed into the deep fat fryer, true Scottish style?
😉
Had it for lunch, it wiz richt braw min!
Having with the family tomorrow night.
Another round this saturday at a belated Burns night.
The methane levels might be rising in the North.....
We had vegetarian haggis soup for lunch at work!
Rather nice it was too. Bit like scotch broth with a bit of sage and onion added.
Had it last night! Pretty sure I sweated most of it out on the ride home tonight though, my kit reeked of haggis when I took it off 😕

And battered.?
Mediterranean Pollo a la Scotia for me (ready meal pasta with the remains of the haggis mixed in).
Suprisingly tasty.
Had it here in the company of 4 fellow Scots. Mixture of Blackball Haggis and Island Bay butchers. Wasn't too bad actually, not a patch on a MacSweens likes but .....
Island Bay butchers haggis for me as well. Quite impressed that an Antipodean could make it so well.
They do make bloody good sausages as well. Best in the country IMHO
