Still waiting for some more info, one of our contractors is a block away and head the shots which appear to have been the police shooting the driver (think that was confirmed)

The first vid where the cops have him on the ground face down and cuffed, then dragged along the floor face down. Ouch.

What an awful thing to happen in such a beautiful city!

More from Victoria Police's Stuart Bateson.

A male deliberately drove into pedestrians in the Bourke Street mall, and we currently have three deceased and at least 20 injuries.

I can confirm that we believe this is connected to an earlier stabbing in the southern metro region.

We have the offender in custody. There is no further threat to the public at this stage.

I can also confirm that this is not a CT-related incident.

My assumption would be CT is confirming this is crimnal not terrorism.

Still very shocking

How do we define terrorism these days?

Does it have to be carried out by people of certain origin?

Same as always, a crime designed to create terror
This one unfortunately looks too much like meth

Depends what side the Daily Mail got out of bed, who are already making comments such as "Islamic"

Meth. History of violence. And mental health issues.

Interestingly, my wife was at a work "thing" with our state premier who admitted that Meth is such a huge problem here, they have no strategy and absolutely no idea what to do.
