For eating that delicious fry up! I mean I am nearly 50, cholesterol is way high, I have put a load of weight on since stopping smoking. I really should be low fat foods only.

But boy was it good. 🙂

Every cell in your body needs cholesterol. Without it, you would die.

You're just applying the precautionary principle.

It's 'elf and safety gone mad!

How long you been without the fags TJ?

By the way, when I'm in charge (and one day I will be) beer will be classed as one of your "five-a-day". After all real ale is all natural ingredients. 8)

Nearly 50, ya young sod! I'm over 60 and love a good fry-up.

If you have it first thing and then watch your food for the rest of the day, it will be fine.

Ta.

The trouble is an improvement in aerobic capacity from stopping smoking has been outweighed by the decrease in power to weight - so I am as slow uphill as ever

A fry up every now and then won't hurt you, nor does a bit of extra weight. Giving up the ciggies however is the best thing you could ever do to improve your health. I gave up over two years ago now and never looked back

TJ, I was a committed smoker, started early teens (now 43 btw) until I gave up in 2005. Since then I've struggled with weight control, not a chubber you understand, but "stocky" in build. However I believe that I am fitter now than at any point in my life. Where I used to push, I can now grind up in a low gear. Where I used to grind, I can now middle ring for the most part. Don't get me wrong, compared to most of the riding gods on here I am probably striving for mediocrity, but the point is since giving up I am better.

As I said earlier, enjoy the vices. There's plenty time to deal with it in Spring. 🙂

Holy Moses!! There is absolutely nothing wrong with a fry-up. The NHS will, hopefully, be sued(and quite rightly so) for all the garbage they spout!!!

Low fat is bollox! Bollox to the grill-up! How our minds have been brain-washed by absolute shite!!!!

bunnyhop likes dogging

if she promises night rides and fry ups, don't go round, you'll wake up in a layby wrapped in a old curtain
