Just wondering what was going on this morning? Loads of riders about, some looking very lost, and lots of white markings on the trails.

Probably a BASH - people following a trail of flour markers. I think there is a group in Reading.

Bicycle Hashing. Hashing is people running, following a trail of flour markers. Bicycle hashing is the same, on a bike.

Ah. Judging by the general level of confusion that there seemed to be, following the floury trail was proving quite tricky for some.

Nice and dry. Though my dog did seem to enjoy peeing on the flour signs.

Part of it is laying false trails. I once helped a mate lay a trail around Bucklebury way. All the false trails ended just after passing through deep, muddy puddles.

Don't really get it myself, but I guess a lot of it is the social side after - pubs tend to be involved as meeting points.
