Seen a house we like over that way but don't really know the area. Just wondered if anyone knew it well and what it's like? Friendly, etc?
(We would be very much incomers with English accents but good at trying to mix. Have been living near Biggar for last 8 months or so)

Nice part of the Borders, plenty of English accents from people who have moved up. It's a low crime area. Nearest town is Duns, however for more facilities you may wish to travel visit Berwick or Galashiels. This link -
