i want to include some links from Google Street View on my website which is promoting a bike festival raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. can i do that? how?
can i put those links on my bike festival Facebook page?
can i take screengrabs and use those?
Google's T&Cs are a bit confusing for me.
Google will generate a link on the street view images that you can share (eg https://goo.gl/maps/IRgLx) or you can embed the image (it gives you an iframe snippet to use). You can use the iframe on your website, but you wont be able to share them on your facebook page. There's also the API if your comfortable doing a little bit more work.
Your almost certainly not meant to take screenshots and share them on facebook, but it'd do it anyway. Google are unlikely to know/care.
