We're trying to sell our flat in SE London, and the estate agent has quoted us about £90 (inc VAT) for their contact to carry out the EPC survey for us. Is this about the normal cost, or could I get a better deal by shopping around?
I'd rather go for a recommended person - I don't particularly want to just pick someone cheap from Google. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just paid our agent in Leeds £76 to come and frown at some light bulbs.

Paid £150 inc VAT for mine four months ago, but that did include a complete set of pro photos of the property so not too bad.
